Help!

Im 18 years old and I am leaving for Disney on Sunday for an all girls trip before we go off to respective colleges but i have never checked into a hotel before- is there anything special i need to bring? i have my id and the credit card i charged the room to- and if i request express check out i just need my credit card right?

You will need your id and a major credit card upon check-in. If the trip is already paid for, then they will swip it for charges to your room (room service, purchases in the parks, etc.). If it is not paid for, then they will charge your credit card the balance owed on the room. Your room key can be used for charging food, purchases, etc. throughout the parks. These charges will then appear on your regular credit card that was swiped at check-in. If you do not want to have your room key used as a charge card, make sure to inform the CM at check-in that you do not want charging capabilities on your room key. Also, unless you purchase separate park tickets, your park tickets will be put on your room key as well. If you do use your room key for charging capabilities, make sure to keep track of your purchases.

My best friend and I started going to WDW about the same age as you and we had no problem checking in. Don't be afraid to ask questions, even 50 year old adults ask dumb questions. Customer service people hear it all so they won't (or shouldn't) laugh at you or anything or not answer your questions. All you have to do is walk up to the check in desk and tell them your name and go from there. My friend who is a supervisor at a hotel also says that you may be asked to sign a form saying you won't have alcohol in your room but I don't think we ever did in WDW but they do at both hotels she has worked at.

thank you so much, im sure ill be fine im just getting totally stressed and nervous about flying on Sunday, with all the heightened security and im starting to get anxious about other things as well. i really appreciate you help
