Help! Yourride or Cartier, can't decide now

We used Yourride on our last vacation. I really don't have any MAJOR compliants about them although our driver that picked us up from the airport seemed alittle short with us (maybe because our plane was delayed...no fault of ours though). The car/van was clean & he did get us to where we had to go.
Our driver on the way back was MUCH better (it was a different driver) he was very friendly & helped us alot with our luggage.

Anyway, now that I have been reading a lot of bad reviews on Yourride I am alittle leary of using them in December!
I am thinking of trying Cartier.

If I do use Yourride again could I request the driver I had before that I really liked?

Yourride has seemed to have gotten a lot of bad reviews lately since Thom took over, I just am not sure if I want to use them again. (we used Yourride about a week after Thom took over, so up until our trpi we delt with Rabbit)
I haven't heard that much bad reviews about Cartier though.

We got quotes from each one and because of some of the thread we have read we picked Cartier. Booking online gives a discount and made Cartier cheaper than Yourride.
We are booked for our October cruise and will post how well the service was when we return.

We just got back today and used Cartier for two pick-ups and our return. Excellent service. On time. informative. clean. very reasonable.

We've booked with Cartier for our cruise in two weeks (and counting)! I've done everything through emails and they were very prompt in answering any questions. I'll let you know how it goes when we return.

Is FL TOURS more expensive? I've used them twice and can't say enough good things about the quality of their service and support - and believe me I'm picky. If you need a grocer stop the driver will give you a discount card to help you save $$.

And since they sponsor this board - look up at the ad - I want them to do well.

I'm doing a short trip on a teeny budget soon and HATE having to use Mears to save money. I want FL TOURS!

I just went to all of their web sites as we are trying to make that decision too. As far as cheaper (5 of us, using van), Youride wins for price..with coupon, 75.00 R.T. Cartier was 90.00 R.T. with their discount.

It is so frustrating reading so many differing opinions!! I tend to want to go with cheaper, but God forbid if they don't show up for the return trip for our flight!!! I don't know if its worth the stress. I've got till January to decide. Why can't they all be consistent with their service. Don't they know we do free advertising for them if they are great??

I just booked Cariter for October. This will be my first time using them, however, I have been in contact with them through several emails. I have two drop offs and pick ups, and at first they didn't get what I was asking of them. But the great and constant communication on their end..we finally got a price and they were extremely curtious and proefssional throughout the few days we emailed. I have found the email response time to be great sometimes even getting back to me the very same day! If their service once we get there is anything like the customer service they have via email..I think this will be our first choice from now on. I have used payless transportation and they were very good..I just heard such great things about this service, I was willing to try them out

We used YourRide our last three times in just over a year span. We were always very pleased with Jim.
I have them booked for this month's trip -- hoping for Jim again -- but won't be upset if we have a different driver.
I just compared YourRide and Carier's price for this trip. For us the cost is identical, coupons/discounts included.

I made reservations for Cartier for our Sept/Oct trip, and I asked them for a car seat and booster seat. They confirmed my reservation, but stated they could only provide a booster seat and if I wanted a car seat I'd have to reserve a van for $90rt instead of $75rt for the town car. Each email said this, like they were trying to sell me a more expensive car or something.

After a few emails back and forth with Cartier to see if I could switch the booster for the car seat (and they said no), and emails to the other companies (2 of 3 are willing to give me both in a town car), I've cancelled my reservation and booked with FL tours. There's only 4 of us, and I'm only 5'2", so we don't need anything bigger than a town car (and I really don't want to ride in a van!).

So for anyone who is in need of a car seat and is looking at town cars, make sure you specifically ask if they'll do a car seat for you. According to Cartier, they will not (only booster seats).

Theres another thread on this multiple seat problem. It appears that Cartier won't due a Car Seat + Booster Seat in one Towncar. I would think that would be a very tight fit and a van would give you the needed space. Cartier provided us with a Full car seat on our last trip so I know they have them. I think its a space problem.

Also consider trying to cram car seat, booster seat, riders, driver and LUGGAGE in one town car.
That would be a tight fit I would think.
It's just the two of us. In January we have more luggage, as we take winter and summer clothes for 8 days. Between the luggage, us and my packages from my half hour outlet pit stop , the town car just fits our needs.
