help working with TA on DME

Okay, please tell me I'm not crazy and that I have this information correct because I'm having trouble proving to my TA that I know what I'm talking about. It's very frustrating!

So, we got Disney's Magical Express with our package that she booked through Delta Vacations. I have a voucher from Delta Vacations saying "good for Disney's Magical Express Service" so I believe we're really signed up for it. However, I'm 8 days out and neither my TA or myself have received luggage tags. My TA claims that I wont get any because they're just a free gift and normal luggage tags will work. I don't think she understands the service at all and I've tried to explain! I say that we need the tags or else we'll have to pick up our own luggage! Right? Tell me I'm right!! Also, what happens if the tags never arrive? Is it okay to pick up the luggage ourselves and then walk over to the DME place in the airport. Will they take the luggage then?

I would call DME. Their phone number is at top of the trans. board in a sticky about DME. I would call and confirm that you indeed have a reservation.

It's ok if you haven't received your luggage tags. When you get to the DME booth at MCO you can give them the numbers off your baggage claim receipts and they will pull the luggage and send it to the resort. Or you can pull it yourself and take it with you on the bus.

Thanks safetymom, I took your advice and called DME directly. They confirmed my reservation and said the tags had been sent out already, so hopefully they will show up before we leave! If they don't you've put my mind at ease that DME will still take our luggage anyway. Thank you!
