My computer got a nasty virus and my DH had to wipe it clean to get it to work again. That means that all my songs and movies that I had on my Zune account (like iTunes, but for the Zune) are gone. I still have them on my Zune player, however.

Is there a way to get my songs back into my Zune account on my computer. If I sync my Zune now will the blank playlist that is in my account overwrite what I have on the actual Zune player?

Thanks for any advice.

Maggie

I don't have a Zune, but I have a iPod.

My laptop crashed (motherboard went out) and I lost all the songs that were loaded in my iTunes account on the laptop. However, I still had everything on my iPod.

If I remember, I was able to bring up iTunes on my desktop (thanks goodness I had a second computer) and load everything back into Itunes. I had to play around with some options in the iTunes program as well as authorize that computer to work with my IPod.

If you think of your iPod or Zune as a flash drive, no reason why you couldn;t put that info back on to your computer.

Connecting your Zune to the now empty Zune account will not erase the data that is actually on the Zune. You will be able to put all the music that is currently on the Zune back into your Zune account on the computer with no problems. I found that was the quickest and easiest way to transfer the music from an old computer when I replaced it.
