Help with xmas vacation

We have been coming to Fl for yrs. now and in the last two yrs. the weather has been cold all over Fl. We use to ski but I can do it any more because of a bad back. Whar I enjoyed most about a FL vacation was the sun and renting pool home and I'm happy. Can you help me out with suggestions fgor next yr. WE been to CA many time but mainly for sight seeing. I am lost.I have also been to Hawaii and the trip is just too long for me to sit through.

I know what you mean about Florida being cold. It has happened to us the last two Feb. vacations.

This year we are visiting my parents in SC and plan on touring Charleston and Savannah. If we get a couple warm days, it will be a bonus. And I am saving thousands since we are stayiing with family and driving vs flying five of us to Florida. Should be a fun change.

We just got back from Tahiti. The flight is abt 8 hours from LAX.

We did Phoenix over Christmas 75 degrees every day. Not really that warm, but warm enough to be comfortable all day. Some pools were open, but water parks were closed.

A friend of mine went to San Antonio at xmas and they stayed near the river walk. She said it was beautiful, they go all out for xmas. As far as the Keys it was cold there too. I may end up in New York City next yr.I don't know about the temps in SA
