Help with Universal tickets, please...

I'll be down in Orlando for 4.5 days in late June/early July. We plan on splitting our time between WDW and Universal.

Should I buy the 5 day ticket for the price of two, even if I know I won't use all five days? Also, can I upgrade certain days with the Express option? Is it worth it? We probably won't do any of the fast/scary rides as my oldest is only 5, but DD loves Suessland and may be able to had the Pluto water ride. Does the express pass get you into shows or anything like that?

The express pass that you buy is good for all rides and shows except Shrek but it is only good for one park unless you buy the two park option which cost more. It can get quite expensive in June and July to buy them. It will probably be $35 per person for one park.

They also have express passes that are free like Disney's fast pass.
