I need help deciding on the best transportation decision for a one day visit.

We have a Chef Mickey's reservation at 7:00 a.m. on the 26th of December and plan on going to Epcot directly afterwards. We are staying off-site at the Hard Rock Hotel.

Would it be better for us to park at the Ticket and Transportation center at 6:30 a.m., take the Monorail to Contemporary Resort and then taking the Monorail to TTC then Epcot afterwards.

Or would it be easier to park at Contemporary Resort and then drive and park at Epcot after breakfast.

I want to make sure we arrive at Epcot prior to it closing due to Holiday Crowds and also to make sure the Monorail will be running that early.

Park directly at CR for breakfast, then drive over to Epcot, afterward.

Then, you will have your car at Epcot when ready to depart for the evening.

Epcot (and its parking lot) should not be nearly closed for crowds in the morning, especially on Dec. 26.

MK is historically the "Christmas Park" (Epcot is the "New Years Park.")

Epcot can hold many, many more guests than the other parks, as well.

BTW, the monorail will be running early, but the driving and parking nearby will be better in this particular case.

Drive to CR, park and have your breakfast, then drive to Epcot. It will be much faster, and you will have your car with you.
If you want to 'do' the monorail, then park at the TTC, take the monorail to CR and then back to TTC after breakfast and transfer to the Epcot line. But, that can be time consuming.

I Agree --- park at CR for breakfast, then drive and park at Epcot.

If you really want to "do" the Monorail, I'd suggest that you wait and do it later in the day, and ride a round trip beginning at Epcot. Also, in our experience, you have a better chance of being able to ride in the front if you do it mid-day.
