Help with Tortola Excursion Choice

We spent a lot of time in advance looking at the excursions and now the one we decided to go for (Island Tour Beach and Lunch TT12) is not being offered according the online activities reservation site for our cruise. We are thinking of Island Drive and Beach Break TT11 instead. However, the only time it is available is 1:15p and goes until 4:45p. That night is Pirates in the Caribbean party night which we don't want to miss and we are assigned to the main dinner seating at 5:45p. I was wondering if someone could tell me if that timing is going to be too tight. If we are done with the excursion at 4:45p, will we have enough time to get back onto the ship, shower and change for dinner?

Another alternative excursion we are considering instead is the Long Bay Lunch and Beach TT26. Has anyone gone on this excursion that could give some reviews or feedback? I wanted the previous excursions because they go to Cane Garden Bay which is a closer beach to port and supposedly the best on the island. I can't find a lot of information on Long Bay and the excursion doesn't seem to have any stops along the way there or back (not to mention that it is a bit more expensive than the other one).

We are considering the Long Beach Lunch and Beach as well and would like to hear from others who have actually done it.

If we don't do Long Beach, we are considering doing Cane Garden Bay on our own.

We are also planning on Long Beach. It looks like that one gets done by 245 and then we are scheduled for Pirate's League at 415. I would love to hear if anyone has done Long Bay Beach and enjoyed it. Also, I am wondering if the excursion end time is when you leave to come back to the boat from the destination or the time we can expect to be back on the boat. Can anyone help with that? Thanks

We did the Island Drive and Beach Break in December and hated it. I recommend just taking a taxi to Cane Garden Bay instead.

Hi, Sorry for the delayed response. We did end up doing this last April (almost a year ago, wow!). While we did not hate it like Shanti, it wasn't anything super exciting. The drive was fine in getting to see a little of the island. However, I think they took the long way back and I wish it was the other way around because we were ready to go back to the ship, still in our swimsuits. The main problem was there wasn't enough time spent at the beach. I think kids would have liked to stay at least another hour. It was our first time on the island though, so I think it was fine because of that. I didn't want to deal with taxis. But I really wish they had a longer option excursion available. If I were going back again, I probably would not book that one again.
