I'm trying to figure out the wedding day timeline. Can someone help me out?

This is what I know:

9 a.m. - Breakfast ADR
10 a.m.- Manicure @ GF

5 p.m.- Ceremony
5:30 p.m.- Group shots
6:00 p.m.- Group transported to AK
6:30 p.m.-Df and I transported to AK

We have 4 hours of photography so I'm figure 2:30-6:30...but then what?? Who gets pictures done first? We are doing a first look...does that come first? Should I tell Beaute Speciale that I need to be ready at 2:30??? Thank you!!

I would do a few pictures of each of you getting ready. Like getting into the dress / etc. I'm not a huge fan of the before and after pics, but I think the putting on the dress are nice and they can take pics of the details. It'd be nice to have a few solo pics too.

After that you can do Bride / BM and Groom / GM; each with respective families if you want or you can do the first look and those BP/Family pics after.

This is something I really fretted over too. I'm not sure if it's "right" but here's what I'm doing :goodvibes

I'm having my hair ready by 2 just in case something would take longer than anticipated. I'm a big worry wort.

Our photography Schedule is as follows:

2:30 Photographer arrives @ Bay Lake Tower for "getting ready" photos (don't need a ton of these, but a few would be nice)

3:00 Photographer meets Groom and groomsmen at Polynesian for groomsmen photos

3:15(ish) I arrive at Polynesian for staged "first look" and then photos around the grounds of the Polynesian with Bridal party and my parents.

4:30 Groom heads over to WP, and we take "girl" shots until our car arrives. at about 4:45.

5:00 Ceremony

5:30 - 6:30 Photos with guests (for thank yous) and of just us around the WP.

I'll let you know in a few weeks if this works for us lol.

Thanks girls! I got in contact with Beaute Speciale yesterday and heard from my wedding planner so this is my rough draft.

7:45 a.m. Leave for Breakfast
8:15 a.m. ADR @ Gf Café
9:30 a.m. Manicures
11:30-2:00 pm Hair and Makeup
2:30 p.m. First Look @ Disney's Boardwalk
3:30 p.m. Leave for GF
4:00 p.m. Group Pics @ Grand Floridian
5:00 p.m. Ceremony
5:30 p.m. Group Shots
6:00 p.m. Guests to leave for AK
6:30 p.m. Amanda and Eric leave for AK/ Cocktail Hour Starts
7:30 p.m. Dinner
8:00 p.m. Bus Departure
8:30 p.m. Cake Cutting
9:00 p.m. Dancing/Bus Departure
10:30 p.m. Bus Departure

Heidi, we are not having professional photography at the reception. We really wanted to make sure we got some amazing pictures at the ceremony and couldn't justify $1700 for 3 hours of DPS for the reception.

That looks like a good timeline!! The only thing I'm stuck on is the transportation from BWV to the GF/WP. We initially were taking 2 cars when we didn't do the first look, but now I'm not sure how it works. I'm waiting to hear back from our WP.

Will someone fill me in on what a 'first look' is? Haven't heard this before!

Thanks :goodvibes

The first look is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time on the wedding day. It's done before the ceremony and is usually a private moment between the bride and groom (and the photographers). This gives you time to take pictures together before the ceremony instead of after.
