So, we are trying to plan a trip to DL next year. As much as I would LOVE to "off-season", we are planning a trip to WDW in Jan., and would like to spread out our trips. We cannot go in the fall because of Nutcracker rehearsals (daughter's dance), and we are very limited in the spring because of dance competitions. So, we are currently trying to decide between Spring Break (mid-March), and the third week in May.

We have been in May, and don't think the crowds are too bad, but would like the weather a bit cooler (I think). So, DL experts....how do crowds during spring break compare to the 3rd week of May? I know we have limited hours at DL in May because of grad nites, and I know we will have seriously extended hours in March because of spring break.

I am really intersted in crowd level comparisons (we didn't think they were too bad in May), and weather.

TIA!!!

We just went in the last week of May and the weather was fantastic (70s all week except one day it hit low 80s). It got crowded in the afternoon but wasn't terrible at all. And as for grad nights I didn't think they made a difference in anything. They don't change the park hours now (they closed at 11 on both grad nights) and next year grad night party moves to DCA so it will likely have less of an effect on park closing than it did this year. For me it's an extremely easy choice. I wouldn't even consider spring break if I could fit anytime in May.
