I need some help sorting out the best fit for tickets for our upcoming trip. We will be a group of 7 - 5 adults, 2 kids - and will only be at Universal for one day this coming Oct. We're planning on coming back to Universal perhaps in December and definitely next year. Earlier this year (May?), there was a promotion for buying a one year pass and getting another year free (Burger King promotion, I believe). We missed that one :( Since that expired, does anyone know if Universal historically runs this type of annual pass promotion any other time of the year? If not, what is the best ticket fit for our family? The consecutive day promotions that I've been reading here on the forum don't apply since we'll only be at Universal one day this upcoming October. Are there any tickets/promos that give you "free days" that don't expire? Thanks for any help you can send my way!!

If your December trip will not run into 12/24 thru 12/31, then I would suggest buying the 15 month power pass through AAA for $104.95. A 1 day/2 park ticket is 73.94 (adult) and 62.94 (child) so even if you only go one other day, you've still saved money.

I'm sure others may know of some good deals out there, I don't keep up too much since we have the preferred annual pass. (BTW in the past they have only run that buy one year- get one promotion once a year).
