Help with the Laruentian Mountain in QUebec!

My family is looking to rent a cottage somewhre in the Laurentians mountains. I have no idea where though. We would like to fish and canoe and swim but also be able to drive a do a little shooping? DOes anyone have any ideas? We are also looking at lodges butnothing rely in Mont. Treblant area cause it seems a little to expensive
