help with t-shirt transfer

Could use some help please! Making t-shirts (surprise) for DD's Sweet 16 party this weekend. Used super hot iron, let shirt cool but having an awful time peeling the backing off. It's coming off like wallpaper if you know what I mean Still working on the 1st tshirt, need to make 4 more.

What type of transfer paper did you use?

What type of transfer paper did you use?

Printworks White Transfer for white tshirts. I ended up doing the rest of the shirts, ironing for 3 minutes instead of 2 and letting them cool for over an hour. The paper mostly peeled off in 1 piece, there's a little bit of backing stuck on that I'll scrape off later I guess.

It may be the transfers. I've used HP and have never had a problem with the paper sticking.
