So the wife wants to sync her phone to her work computer for the contacts and calendar and then the home computer for music/apps/video, etc (everything else). I'm thinking that all I have to do is go into each tab in iTunes (when the phone is hooked up) and just tell it what to sync from that specific computer. Is that right? Thanks for any help.

I'll add my version of Kevin's disclaimer. (thanks Kevin for the great idea)

My iPhone may not be as good as your _____, but it is the choice I have made after drinking all the free Kool Aid at the Apple store. I am willing to live the choice I have made.

I have a similar issue.. synch mail with the work pc but musicis on my home pc..

I use a program called Copy Trans Manager (which is free) to do the music/video synchs otherwise it wipes out my iphone every time i switch pcs.

it's just as easy as itunes for syncing (drag and drop) and includes the metadata and images as well..
