Hi all! I would like to use Chicken broth in my stuffing instead of butter, how much do I use? The recipe calls for 1 and a half cups of water and 4 tablespoons of butter, so should I just use 4 tbsps of broth? Help!

i use orange juice instead of water, but you have to have the butter...in my book 4 T not enough.....lol
I wish I could make that statement. My family has asked me to make stovetop from now on, just can't get the stuffing to come out right no matter what I do.![]()
I know I am late but we only use butter when cooking the onions and celery on the stove top. Not sure why you would need butter in the stuffing as well. We add bread to the onions and celery as well as poultry seasoning and water.
