I would love to hear some ideas... we have a project we have to do..

We were given a white piece of paper with 3 cirlces for our snowman.. we have to decorate it with our child being very creative...

I would love to hear suggestions..

My little girl wants to make a scarf, use buttons ...

I would love to hear ideas.

It won't be complete without Mickey Ears.

Use stretched out cotton balls on the body pieces. Don't forget to use hot glue when needed to make things stick.

oh that would be cute.. I don't have a pair though... should I just make them out of felt? Mickey ears would be so cute!

I do something similar with my first graders. We gave them an outline of a turkey for Thanksgiving and a tree at Christmas. They took them home and were to decorate them. The directions were to glue things on. They turned out so cute! The cotton is a good idea, or go to the craft store and buy a bag of a bunch of winter shapes and glue those on. Make a scarf out of a piece of fabric, buttons for the eyes and down the front. Use things around the house...even Fruit Loops or M & Ms glued on would be cute. Have fun!

I did find out this morning it suppose to be things around the house.. not your usual snowman...

I would love to help her make a disney one.. anyone have any creative ideas?

Do you have clear or white glitter laying around? I'd glitter it.

Buttons, string...mickey ears you could cut out of construction paper.

You know what you could do..... use red glitter on the bottom circle, add 2 little white buttons....yellow construction paper for the feet..... toothpicks, or popsicle sticks for the arms.... construction paper white gloves......

You could make him Mickey.

mini marshmallows

white rice or coconut or popped popcorn for body
peppercorns for eyes
piece of fruit roll up or starburst nose
fruit roll up for scarf
formed fruit rollup for hat
licorice for mouth
holding a cinamin stick for broom with shredded wheat stalk

This is fun, I wanna make one tooooo

we just did this for my son's 1st grade class. be careful, his class had a no food rule...you couldn't use any food at all. he used a lot of felt, cotton balls, glitter glue, twigs, buttons, string, ribbon. I worked in his class this week and saw a few that kids had brought in...really cute ones, some people cut up real knit scarves and such to make outfits for their snowmen and such. I love the idea of a mickey snowman!

Mix Ivory Snow laundry flakes with a little water and whip with a mixer to make a fluffy paste and let your child "fingerpaint" that on as a base then when it drys you can add things on top of it.

You can also cover the circles with glue and then sprinkle salt on.

Styrofoam Packing peanuts can also be used.

DS has the same project.

We're making our snowman to be a WDW tourist. We're making Mickey ears, Mickey t-shirt, a camera around his neck. He'll be holding a Mickey Bar in his pipe cleaner hand. I'm trying to make crocs but I'm having a hard time drawing them.

I'm going to try my best and describe my vision. How about making a mickey head pattern and tracing it all over on the snowman. I'm thinking an overlapping pattern one on top of another is different hues of white and blue- frosty looking. Kind of like a hidden Mickey with the Mickey heads acting like snowflakes.

please don't use food items on it. When the creepy crawly critters start coming out, it will have to be thrown away. I won't even hang those types of things up because my building has mice that love that kind of stuff.

We have a bunch of unmatched socks with fun patterns and broken fabric belts that were collecting dust on our dryer. We used those to make clothes, scarfs, boots, gloves, etc. for our girls' snowmen projects.

If you mix shaving cream and white glue it will make a 3D kind of effect when it is painted on.
