I am thinking of making us some matching t-shirts to wear at MNSSHP. I found some great designs to transfer. Does anyone know where to get plain white quality t-shirts from children's size all the way up to plus size??

Try your local craft store. Here in NJ Michael's and AC Moore carry a nice quailty Hanes T from child up to a XXL adult. They even have a nice lime green if your so inclined! :thumbsup2

Forget the t-shirts, indulge & go in costume!

I got a sweet Minnie costume 75% off @ www.disneyoutlet.com , of course, those polka dots aren't too slimming.

Seriously, I hope there are other "adults" running around in costume or I'll feel like a dork.

I got my shirts from Michael's (lime green :thumbsup2 ) but I am having trouble comming up with a cool design. My Ex wife is going to kill me when I make her wear one. :teeth:

If you want to make your own shirts, need a cathcy saying, or need details about actually making your shirts - go to the Creative DISigns section - it is under just for fun. They have some really talented designers that will be more than willing to come up with a design for your trip. ALso, they have great pages about making your own shirts.

As it gets closer to Halloween - you will see all the Halloween t-shirts come out. We went to MNSSHP a few years ago and while my boyfriend and I dressed in costumes (Woody and Jessie - and we are in our mid 40's) both my father and my boyfriends father wore t-shirts we purchased for them. We got them at Target for $5.00. They are bright orange and it says in glow in the dark letters "This is my Halloween Costume". We also have one from Target that says "Rattle them Bones" in the same glow in the dark writing. They ususlly have these in both children and adult sizes.

I believe Old Navy also comes out with t-shirts for Halloween.

They also sell (of course) MNSSHP t-shirts at the party. We purchased one of these and it is tie die purple and says something about the party, the year and has a picture on it (can't remember what it is right now).

I say - go for the costume.

There some awesome threads on the these boards dedicated to making t-shirts for the HP. If you go to the main board and scroll to the bottom, you will see a section titled, "Creative DISigns."

Here are some informative and starter threads to explain the t-shirts:

Also, Hobby Lobby has their blank t-shirts at 50% off this week (through Saturday). Remember, they aren't open on Sundays!

I am headed over there tomorrow to buy mine. I think they should be about $2 each. W/M has Hanes' t-shirts in all different colors for about $4, and Michaels carries all kinds of t-shirts too (in fact, they were 2/$5 last week).

Wait until you see all the designs people have out there that are FREE and ready for you to use! It is simply mind-blowing! I am considering doing t-shirts for more than the HP just because I found some that would be perfect for my family.

For instance, I saw one that said, "I am finally tall enough to ride Rock 'n Roller Coaster." My 6-year old has been measuring himself every day for a year trying to get to that magic 48" mark just so he could ride RNRC!

So, good luck, happy reading, and be prepared to spend at least an hour looking at all the wonderful designs these creative people have come up with! :goodvibes
