I need help with the different concierge options at the GF. I am told that the outerlodge has a concierge floor called the Sugar Loaf. The main building has a concierge floor called the Royal Palm Club. From what I understand, the only difference is that no alcohol is served at the Sugar Loaf, however, I will have access to the Royal Palm. My concern is that the difference in price is substantial! Sugar Loaf is $600/night and Royal Palm $720! Is the food that much better or the rooms that much larger?I have a regular Garden Room right now at $444. Should I just keep that? Are the concierge level rooms that much nicer? Please advise. Going 2/25. Thanks!

Maybe I can help, but Cali will be the ultimate in knowing what is what.

My understanding is you book one or the other. If you book the Sugar Loaf, which is an entire building with the lounge being on the ground level you will NOT have access to the RPC in the Main Building. The rooms are the same, with the options of Tower, Deluxe or Honeymoon. The theme might be different but all in all the room size is the same.

As for the food, the food offerings are usually the same minus a few items. The RPC tends to get a few more and as you stated the they get the evening cordials and alcohol. Again, you will not have access to the Main Buildings offerings which would be nice.::yes::

I hope this helps, as for is it worth it????????? It really depends on the # of people in your party, the amount of time you will be spending in the room and if the offerings are things you would want. We have done Concierge a few times and do like it, but feel that we can save money and buy exactly what we want when we want it. Now, if I can get it for only a few dollars more a night I would jump on it.

Happy Planning.

Wendi is correct, if you are staying in Sugar Loaf, you will not have access to the Royal Palm Club (and vice-versa). The rooms are pretty much the same, actually, pretty much the same as a garden view room, too. The real difference for the Main Building-Royal Palm Club is being in the main building, having wine & cordials in the evening, and having slippers & VCR's in the rooms.
