Help with room rates

Hi,

We used to go to the Contemporary and Poly years ago and it seemed fairly reasonable. Within the past 10 years are so, the rates just seem amazingly high. My youngest son is begging us to stay at the Contemporary. Since we are close, it does not matter time of year. What is the absolute best deal I can get for 1 night at the Contemp?

My guess is 30 percent off the rack rate. That is the biggest discount I have seen in the last few years.

I would think January after new years through about mid February would have the lowest rack rate. Couple that with a 30% discount.

I agree that the last 10 years the rates have gone through the roof. I recall in the late 90's rack rate at Dixie Landings was $115-$125 for the majority of November. Maybe Disney is trying to make up for all those years the masses stayed off site because of the lack of on site lodging options.
