Hi guys as I'm nearly at the 60 day booking mark I have been thinking about places/times to eat when we go to DLRP in Nov/Dec.

This is what I have come up with I would be grateful for any feedback/advice etc.....

Also to let you know we are a couple and have booked half board plus vouchers...

Sun (arrival day) - getting the eurostar, was going to get a counter service lunch, and am planning to go to Walts for dinner (I hope its open, and we would use the vouchers at face value). The park is open till 9pm and I would like to book for 6ish, do you think Walts will be open this late??

Mon - Counter service lunch and Annettes for dinner (we will use the vouchers at face value). The park shuts at 7pm, is it better to leave the park a little before closing so were not in a big queue?? I was thinking we could leave at 6:30?

Tues - Counter service lunch, and the steakhouse for dinner (on the half board menu). Was going to book for 8pm (again the park shuts at 7pm) this gives us time to watch the spectromagic and slowly wander to disney village.

Wed - Lunchtime buffet at agrabah cafe (we will pay for this and use my 15% shareholders discount) to fill up for the journey home!! Maybe go for say 12:30?

Thank you!

I think, in off peak season, Walts is only open for lunch. Someone on the dining reservations line should be able to confirm that for you though.

I think it will have to be a very late lunch on the day you get there, unless Eurostar services are back to normal. The trains are running a bit late and by the time you sort out your cases (assuming you're using Disney Express?) it will probably be quite late by the time you get to the park. Also, will you be too excited when you get there to head straight for a restaurant? I wouldn't, but I know DD wouldn't let us :)

I definitely agree about leaving the park a little early to avoid the queues, although I don't have any experience of doing so. We always stayed right until the park closed and had to queue at places (though never for too long). So my guess is that it would help to arrive before the throng but others may say that you always have to queue anyway?

We are doing the same as you - Agrabah for lunch the day we leave, to fill up for the journey home :)

Thanks for your replies so far guys..

Bob- as the park is open till 9pm on our first day I'm hoping Walts is open a little later (and also I know the Silver Spur is closed while we are there), if not I think we will go for late (as in mid afternoon!) lunch instead and have a snack in the evening!

Tinkjon-Im hoping the eurostar wont be too delayed as the train is leaving 30mins earlier than we were meant to, I dont mind eating late anyway as its only me and my bf, we dont have any kids to worry about!!

Has anyone been to DLRP and the park and when the park is open till 9pm-are the restaurants?

When the park was open until 7, the restaurants were only open until 4.... I would ask on the reservations line what they reckon it will open until.....

So is mine! I just ask if they can speak English because I'm not confident enough unless its face to face!

It's fine when you phone them - when the phone rings it prompts you to press 1 if you speak French or 2 if you speak English. When you press 2 they do answer the phone by saying "blahblahblahbonjour" but then straight away say "good afternoon/evening" so you can just start speaking in English. This is for the restaurant reservation line, by the way, not the booking line - I can't find the number at the moment though, I'm afraid.

Thankyou!! That has reassured me a lot! Going to hang on for a while anyway as I keep changing my mind!
