Help with RCI Points to trade to DVC

Hi Everyone...I searched the board to see if this question was aksed anywhere so I did not repeat it but did not find it...Here is my scenario...My family owns 4 weeks of RCI Timeshare (2 in Aruba - 1 in Las Vegas, and 1 in Orlando{Orange Lake}... We are based on a points system. I am trying to convince my family to possibly purchase a DVC week. I would think the best way to help persuade them is to trade for a week at a WDW DVC resort. Can you trade RCI points to use at a WDW DVC resort???

Hi,

DVC only trades with Interval International.

Another way to "test" out DVC would be to rent points from owners over on the DVC rent board, or find a DVC owner that you could trade weeks with.

That is dissapointing but I do appreciate the quick reply. Thank you very much for the info...I was just hoping to use our existing points but oh well... I am kind of a new member but I just also wanted to say that everyone on the boards here is great! Thanks everyone!

You could also try to do a direct trade with a DVC member. The Rent/Trade Board will allow that as well as renting a DVC reservation from a member.

I agree with Doc above. You seem to own at some popular destinations that might appeal to some DVC member (Aruba and Las Vegas). I think you would have a fair chance to work out a direct trade with a member. Good luck.
