help with quote please

hi went to get quote for disney next year as hopeing to take my little brother but the quote i got was for
1 adult 1 child (7 yrs old) for 18 august 2011 for 2 weeks staying at disney all star music with flights with thomas cook and transfers but NO PARK TICKETS
TOTAL WAS £3121.00

and i think it very high but wounderd wat other people throught about it

A bit difficult to price up for next August yet as most airlines have still not released their prices.

You don't say which airport from.

Most of us book flights and hotel seperate as package holidays are a little expensive in August
You can book AS Music with Disney.co.uk for £798, 2 charter flights(quick estimate form Charterflights.co.uk) from Gatwick £1548.20
Total £2346.20 Less Quidco cashback(Disney.co.uk give 3%)

If you can delay going until after the 23rd the prices usually drop, just looked at BA.com from Gatwick 24th August for 14 nights £967.40 making total incl hotel £1765.40

There are also deals incl free dining if that interests you but only if you stay in a moderate or Deluxe resort.

If staying onsite and flying into MCO you don't need to pay for transfers Disney provide it free.

As I said a bit early yet but that gives you an idea of difference between your package quote and DIY.

Edited just to say Virgin Holidays are cheaper than your TC quote, although still OTT IMO. £2982.85 less 4% http://www.quidco.com/virgin-holidays/?ac means total after cashback (£119.31) it would cost £2,863.54

if you book with a travel agent then you will pay under occupancy as only 1 full price adult

best to book direct with disney then get flights as you just pay for you room
