Help with questions about booking through another member

We have friends who are DVC members (we just sold our membership), and they were about to cancel an upcoming trip but instead offered it to us. My question is, does he have to make all arrangements (transportation, dining, etc...), or can I just link the confirm # to our Disney account and do it myself? Also, how does this work for bands/FPs?

The member that makes the reservation is the only one that can add/modify/remove DME and/or a Disney Dining Plan. Dining plans must be paid for in full at the time they are added to the room reservation. Some people have successfully added DME by using the DME website.

Once linked to your MDE profile, you can make your own dining reservations.
