I'm trying to figure out where we want to eat on our upcoming trip. We would really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you can give on our selections. Our party consists of 5 adults and 3 kids (myself, DH, DS4, DD1, my mom, our friend Kurt, his daughter (age 4) and his mom). We are all fairly adventurous eaters willing to try new things. We have never eaten at any of the following places. I need to pick 7 TS restaurants. Here is what I am thinking of so far:

1900 Park Fare - dinner
Le Cellier
Teppan Edo
Beaches & Cream

Possibly considering:
Ohana
Yak & Yeti
Cape May Breakfast
Tutto Italia
Mama Melrose's

Does anyone have any thoughts on those places? Which ones would you pick? Any that you would avoid? Why? Any thoughts, experiences, and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!!!
Renae

Good first choices, I like them all, here's my opinion on the rest:

Ohana is good, it's a first night tradition for us & they have activities for the kids. Mama Melrose is good too, especially if you do the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg. We haven't dined at any of the others on your possible list so I can't comment on the rest. We're planning an ADR for Yak & Yeti for our next trip.

Have you considered Crystal Palace, it's a great buffet for lunch or dinner & it has the Pooh Characters?

Happy Dining!:goodvibes

In my opinion, I would pass on Mama Melrose if you are going to Tutto. I liked Mama Melrose, but Tutto is by far better. Also, Yak and Yeti is my least favorite place, but I think I am in the minority on that one. Plenty of people love it so I must have been there on a bad day.

I would definitely do Teppan Edo and Le Cellier. Both are great. 1900 was good for breakfast. I think you are going more for the characters than the food at those types of places. I haven't tried dinner there, but it's probably worth doing at least once just for the experience if nothing else. Crystal Palace is another good character/buffet place.

I have not tried Beaches and Cream, Ohana or Cape May.

Good luck.

I would skip Mama Melrose. Last time my husband & I were there the food was mediocre at best.

1900 Park Fare is definitely for the characters/kids. We have done Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, and Hollywood & Vine for character meals and wanted to try a different one this time. That is why we chose 1900 Park Fare, plus I checked the menu and it didn't look too bad.

Any more thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!!!

1900 Park Fare - dinner:Great food and wonderful atmosphere. The girls will especially love this one.
Le Cellier:Such good food!

Possibly considering:
Ohana:Another good place to eat! Ask for a table by the window with a MK view! It's not a guarantee, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Mama Melrose's:We love MM!

I would do Tutto Italia over Mama Melrose any day of the week...we were not that thrilled with MM.

The only one I'd suggest reconsidering is Teppan Edo, for a couple of reasons: one, with a little one in your party, the flames from the grill might be a little scary, and two, I'm guessing you have a teppan-style restaurant close by your home, and Epcot's isn't going to be sigificantly better. But that's just me.

I'd add 'Ohana, and just choose one Italian spot or the other.
