They printed on the Magic last week. We still had the album books to go through.
We were on the Dream 2 weeks ago still had printed pictures. Pictures are expensive that is for sure but nice to have since it is hard to get a family picture these days .
The "plus all your prints" option isn't actually prints of all the photos taken. But all prints that are printed by Shutters and placed in your folder. Usually the prints in your folder are not all the photos taken.Thanks. Interesting then, that they are not offering the "plus all your prints" addition for (which my wife always pre-purchased) to the digital package. Maybe it can be added onboard.

Understood that could be the case, however I don't recall ever having photos in our digital "folder" that weren't actually also printed.
Anyway...I had submitted an inquiry to MyCruisePhotos on their website. Didn't expect to get an answer right away (assumed it would be a couple of days), but did. Here is the response:
"We are moving away from prints to be more sustainable. We will not be offering digital and print packages pre-cruise. They may have some print packages once onboard, however not unlimited. "
Doesn't make a lot of sense to me - if, as the recent reports in this thread indicate - most photos taken are still being printed and placed in the folders. If "sustainability" is truly the goal (although most times that it is usually just the politically correct PR spin instead of stating the real goal - cutting costs), it would make more sense to give incentives for guests to purchased the already-printed photos rather than have to dispose of them.
I would guess that this means that they are preparing to stop printing photos in the near future, or at least printing less of them, so they don't want to pre-sell a lot of print packages, and then have trouble honoring them once they go fully/mostly digital, but if they are still printing photos on a given cruise, then they will offer the print package on that cruise.
I believe they use a USB for the digital package now.Can you still GET prints onboard? Just ones you order? Or is it ALL digital? And if it's only ALL digital, do they offer any way to get it other than a CD? My computer is new and doesn't have a CD drive.
Ugh. Heard back about how the digital package is delivered. Dream Class gets a USB. Classics are stuck with the soon to be outdated (and already is on a lot of computers) CD.
I remember someone saying the Wonder doesn't have the photo library anymore - it is all physical. Can you still get prints on the Wonder? I will be upset if my only option for pictures is my own camera...
There are photo location set ups (primarily in the atrium). And roving photographers in the dining rooms as well as on Castaway Cay.I'm thinking about getting the Package for my brother + and my nephews as a gift. Are photographers wandering all over the ship or are they only in MDRs, meet and greets, by the pools etc
