Hello...
I was wondering if anyone could offer suggestions for an inexpensive, but nice place to stay for one night before starting our annual Disney Vacation Club stay. We are going to visit Universal and would like something close. We're not requiring luxury, but it must be clean. Thanks for your assistance.

I was trying to avoid priceline because I don't think you are guaranteed 2 beds and I have a daughter and friend. I usually use priceline when it's just my husband and me....

Its very rare in the ORlando area to get a room without 2 beds..we have used PRiceline quite a few times in Orlando and always gotten 2 beds..one time we requested 1 bed and it was an ordeal to get that

I haven't stay near US/IOA - except when staying at US - Royal Pacific - i think there are Best Western and American Suites in the area.

I usually use http://www.hotwire.com in this type of situation. You can specify the area i.e. I-Drive, LBV, airport etc so you'll be fairly near to the area you are looking for. Generally I don't go any lower than 3*
