Help with offsite hotel.. honeymoon trip

Hi Disers!

I am helping a couple of my colleagues book/plan their honeymoon trip

Heres the brief.. 3 weeks in total.. 4 nights in New York, 7 nights Disney, 6 nights elsewhere in orlando, 4 nights in Clearwater (or somewhere else on a beach)

Today, we booked the flights and a week in Saratoga Springs, with free dining and the $150 dollar spending money thought that was a fab little extra.

Sooooo from you experts I need help for 6 nights elsewhere.. somewhere a bit closer to Universal I think.

I know the deal for OKW and SS is great but they want to move around a bit and not be too disney-fied! This is their first trip and they are kind of leaving most decisions to me!! And i've estimated I can get the whole trip, inc flights, hotels, park tickets and car for under 2k each...

So I have so far looked at 'The Point, Orlando Universal Boulevard.' Any views on this? Coming out as £61 per night so £451 for 6 nights. Is a good deal?
I would love to book them into a universal resort but cant see them coming up as under £100 per night?? Do they ever? They are going on 5th June if thats relevant

I would send them to Portofino Bay at Universal. It's beautiful and convenient to all other attractions. It's pricey but it sounds like they can handle it if they are doing a 3 week long honeymoon. LUCKY!!!!
