We are planning a second week of June trip to wdw because our daughter's dance school is preforming @ DTD. We usually do on site during our last couple of stays, but this year we like to:
1. do something different (maybe a day at Universal, Sea world) etc.
2. Save some money so we can still do our annual trek on site.
3. Get a nice pool home.

We are driving down, so location is not that big a deal. Any help/advice would be helpful.

If you go to www.vrbo.com or www.homeaway.com, there are loads of pool homes on there; once you settle on one, you may want to google the area to see how far it is from the parks you want to visit.

Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms. Emerald Island are some popular ones close to Disney, but there are many other nice communities. It helps if you decide to focus on a community and then the amenities you want, to then decide which home is best for you. Have fun!

The above are very nice, but if you are looking to save money you might try Rolling Hills and Indian Creek. All are in the same general neighborhood, close to the parks, good restaurants, shopping, etc.

Rolling Hills and Indian Creek don't have community pools and are a bit older and more residential than resort. They are not in such high demand and the owners are much more likely to offer a deal.

If you are friends with some of the other dance school families and went in together on a large pool home you could have a great time and really save some $$$.

Have fun!

Loyaltyusa has some very nice homes. We have stayed with them twice. Good people. Ask for Yvonne.
