Hi Everyone

Happy New Year from Orlando.

Need some help from the technical please, there is a lovely notebook in the walmart sale, I am a total numpty at this sort of thing, how would I be able to charge it at home - is it worth buying notebooks and the like over here. We got our ipods over here, but this is the first time we have been interested in a notebook, laptop etc ...

Thanks

Jules xx

Happy New Year to you both hun.

All you would need is a US to UK plug adapter, exactly like the UK to US plug you use to charge your camera, ipod etc in the US, but the reverse. Do you know what I mean?

We have found recently that things are cheaper here, as Wayne says wait for a deal!

Also, be careful with operating systems Jules. MS for one don't chuck out updates in ALL countries for all their software. It may feel tempting, but I would buy UK too:thumbsup2

Is that + tax?
$239 + tax = $254.53 @ $1.61 = £158.09 (if you use a fee free credit card, more if not)

I am no expert on Acer netbooks, this looks the same without checking all specs £199 free delivery.

If its the same is it worth saving £40?
Could it be found cheaper in UK with a bit of searching?

To me I would rather buy in UK for £40, I know my Brother bought a Macbook air in US but he saved £100's and he is in the computer industry, easy for him to sort any problem.
