Hello friends!
We are having a hard time deciding what we want to do for Mother's Day dinner. We made PS for Ariel's Grotto but we looked at the menu and we think that it might be too grown up for our kids... ( 8,6,4 and 2) We were thinking of doing Minnie and Friends instead but weren't sure about the quailty of the food becuase they call it Buffiteria. Last year we went to Goffy's Kitchen for Breakfast and we LOVED it.
We are a really casual family and it's very important to me that my kids like the food and eat it! LOL!! :rotfl: Well at I want the best chance that they will eat it I guess is what I am trying to ask..thoughts, suggestions... :confused3

Beffeteria is another word for a buffet and that is what you would be getting, the same as Goofy's.

Ariel's Grotto does have a kids menu available but if you love Goofy's then the other buffets should be fine for you. Only one place online has the kids menu for lunch available it seems. I saw that at my last visit and it was pasta in a bowl with fruit around the base.

You won't be able to go to Minnie's for dinner as it is breakfast only. The restaurant is open for dinner, but as the Plaza Inn - not a character meal. I believe for character meals at dinner it would be only Goofy's Kitchen and Ariel's. They do have the Big Thunder BBQ now as well.

Here is a link for the kid's menu. http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/men_agk.htm It really is not too grown up. My ds 6 and my dd 9 really like this one. I really think your girls would like it with all the princesses. The will bring more salad or dessert if you run out. I would suggest keeping this ressie. Both my kids really like the Seashells and cheese.
Classic kids meal.

My girls favorite place to eat is Ariel's Grotto. Definitely not too grown up when you see the kids' menu choices. :) I would keep what you have and if you want to do a Minnie & Friends meal do the breakfast, it's well worth it IMO! :)
