So I just got my new MacBook last week and it's awesome!
BUT, last night I went to go transfer my videos from my camcorder to my new mac via FireWire....Yup...no FireWire PORT!
I know, I should have checked the specs before I purchased the mac, but I thought a firewire port was standard, just like the usb ports or the power port!!!
So I'm sitting here with my new macbook, Disneyworld videos, and nothing I can do about it...unless someone here can help me!!!
I can't connect via USB, because my camera kit did not come with the USB and I didn't feel like calling JVC to send me one (and from what I heard, videos appear more clearly via firewire).
Any options out there for me???!!!
