With my computer mouse, a lot lately when I move it some direction it stops moving as if there is an invisible wall, and I have to move it around fast for it to go again. Any help here? It is HORRIBLE for fireworks this way! >_<

Same with my mouse, and my mom and dads mouse, and my other computers mouse and my familys lab tops mouse, and well u get the point.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a perfect mouse....that or it's something wrong with VMK. But my mouse does that ALL the time and I rarely play fireworks because of it. So sad...

what type of mouse are you using?

ordinary?gaming?
ball?optical?
cord?wireless?minature?

I dunno what type. But it does have the usual little ball on the bottom, where some have the sensor things. I know not gaming or wireless though. Best bet ordinary XD

I think it's the ordinary ones that are acting up. I wonder if you can use a joystick to play fireworks..lol

what kind of mousepad do you use? i had one that was cloth that made my mouse horrible so i put my mouse on my wood desk... if you put it on a smooth surface and make sure there's nothing on it or it's not dusty it works excellent! yeah it made my fireworks score jump from 30,000 to 150,000

oh and if you're using one of the crappy 5 dollar ones their just like that!

Well mine's just the dell mousepad my computer came with.

Here are a couple of points on your mouse and mouse pad.

*While a wireless is nice sometime there will be a delay in the data or
other glitch so I stick with a corded mouse
*An optical mouse seems to be the smoothest and best option – yes the
higher the quality the better the results as with anything in life
*Mouse pads- an optical mouse does not like a all surfaces, sometimes it
can’t find itself if you happen to find a smooth desk top it likes go with this
but you will never be happy with a pad again I like this for smoothness but
also no edges to hit or catch. If you must use a pad I found the vinyl ones
are nice until they get any bend or nick or any imperfection. Then they will
make it suddenly jump and change direction on you. I prefer the cloth
ones but it has to be clean and free of debris and imperfections as well if it
feels like it is dragging it may be dirty (oil and grit from normal human
contact) you have two option toss it or I have washed them (air dry them)
they usually come out improved but this can only be done a few times.
