I am new to the boards, but listen to the podcast religiously.
I am getting married in t-minus 29 days! 11-10-09 at Sunset Point. I think I have almost all of my plans finalized except for.... I don't know what to get my groom as a gift! (he loves pin trading, we have almost 700 pins) and... I don't know what to do for my mom as a special part of/after the ceremony. I will only have 4 guests at my wedding including my Mom... So I am looking for suggestions for my groom, and my Mom.
When I walk out, I am planning to have my groom meet me half way, where I am going to "pin him." He doesn't know it yet... but he has been wanting the grape soda cap pin that Ellie gives to Carl in the movie Up... So I wanted to incorporate it into the ceremony... but the thing is... he has been itching to buy it and I finally had to tell him that he wasn't allowed to buy it that I had purchased it and that I would be giving it to him when we were at WDW. So, I suspect that he thinks that it is going to be his wedding present, so now I need something else... Do you think this is a good idea?
