Hi everyone I have a 95 Plymouth voyager and for three months the brake have been squealing I have had the brake checked three times and they can find nothing wrong has anyone had this problem and if so what is it.thanks i really appreciate your help. muschko

On a Chrysler van I had squealing also, and it turned out not to be brakes. It was a belt of some sort in the engine.

We had the same thing and it was the belt slipping.

There are low pad warnings on the front brakes. These will screach at about 2000 miles left on the pad. Will make noise as brakes are applied and for a little bit after the pedal is released. If this is happening have the pads replaced before you start grinding them and need new rotors. I have a 92 Caravan and the brakes go about every 30,000 miles.

::yes::

Just had the brakes and rotors replaced!

And they are still making noise? If they are there is a thin metalic plate that sits between the pads and the calibier (sp) if they did not replace this, it could cause the brakes to squeal. Can't tell until the pads are removed if it is there or not.
