For you advanced Disney travelers, could you help me with our (very 1st ever) May trip? We will arrive on May 7th (not sure of the time, will not be a park day) and we will be leaving on May 15th. We have a 3 year old son. We are getting 10 day Hoppers w/ Plus (and non-expiring) so we can use them again on our next trip. 1st question, since we will have Hoppers, do I assume that we can go to one park in the morning and a different park in the afternoon and that will only take one day off of our tickets?
Next, I have to get ready to make our character PS's this week. We are doing:
Breakfast at Crystal Palace
Dinner at Chef Mickey's
Breakfast at Restaurantosaurus
Is it best to do Crystal Palace on a non-early entry day for Magic Kingdom? I was originally planning on taking advantage of the Extra Magic hours (staying at Fort Wilderness), but they don't really coincide with the order I wanted to do the parks. I would like to do Magic Kingdom on our 1st park day (May 8th) and this is non-early entry. What is the earliest PS we can get? I thought this would be a nice start for my 3 year old. And I kind of wanted to do MGM the second day (May 9th) because my son LOVES all the shows that are featured there, but again, not an Extra Magic Hours day...
For those who love to plan, could someone look at the hours for our days and offer your advice? We will do a total of 5 park days, plus one water park day. I thought maybe on the 5th park day do Magic Kingdom again, or split it. The other days we will do Daytona and also just hang out at the campground. Then we are headed to Key West for 3 days.
Also, May 8th (our 1st park day) will also be mine and DH's anniversary, any tips? We don't want to do anything where we would need a babysitter, we want our son involved in every aspect of this trip.
Thanks for any advice you can offer. I have been hanging out here for 8 months now and have read a lot. I know some of you LOVE to plan
Thanks!
Beth
