Having to pay cash for first two nights of our three night trip. 15th anniversary. Third night is at BCV using points.

Due to limited availability, our choices are: a studio at YC or a one bedroom at ssr( our home resort, which we really like) prices are similar. Or OKW studio.

We will not be going to parks these first two days, but rather just relaxing and spending time together.

YC looks very appealing for an adults only trip, and we have never stayed there or even been to the boardwalk area. But a one bedroom at ssr would have the jacuzzi;), and we don't need the fabulous walk to Epcot the first two days.

OR do we save $200 and get a okw studio? This is appealing since it is killing me to pay cash:scared1: for a stay. (so spoiled) Never been to OKW, though, and want this anniversary trip to be special!

Thanks so much for your input. Last minute trips are so exciting, but so hard to plan with such limited availability...

What would you do?

There are no "studios" at Yacht Club, but just regular resort rooms. Studio is terminology only used in the DVC resorts.

My first choice would be to do either SSR or OKW IF you could get all 3 nights there. Just because it's disruptive to move on a 3 night trip, IMO.

Other than that, I guess I don't have a strong opinion on the other choices. Given the choices, I'd take the space of the 1 BR @ SSR.

Hi 4froggies,

Question: As you're just relaxing and spending time together, will the majority of those 2-days be spent in your room? If so it has to be the one-bed at SSR.

If not, then save the $200 on the room rate and spend it on yourselves when you're out and about from your OKW studio.

Have a great trip and happy anniversary.

I am concerned about that, but our plan is to check out the third morning, head over to Epcot, then walk to BCV and check in, then go to HS that night. Hopefully this will be worth the disruption:)

Well, I can't see us spending too much time in the room. We are more the type to get out to relax;). So I am thinking OKW. Thanks for the happy wishes!

Before I saw the cost savings, my vote was for OKW. We love it there and if we add on points it will be there--home now is Boardwalk. Sitting on the balcony there is so nice--it is not like the other resorts where there is a row and you can shake hands with your neighbor but decks are placed on all sides of the building to give privacy.
I would actually stay there all 3 nights. BC has so many kids, if I was going kidless, seeing them all would make me miss mine more.
Enjoy your trip!

I have stayed at all three and I would say save the cash and stay at OKW. More room, and a very relaxed atmosphere. We spent Thanksgiving week at YC and were disappointed by the room sizes (yes, we are spoiled with the size of the DVC villas!). All OKW rooms are huge compared to other resorts and you can't beat the atmosphere there for relaxing! I hope you have a fantastic time no matter where you end up!

Thanks! We did decide to go with OKW. Looking forward to trying it!
