We're going to be pretty busy this trip! Between flying in kinda late on the 11th and leaving early on the 16th and Super Soap Weekend right in the middle, I don't want to waste any time. Could any of the Disney experts help out with our itinerary? (By the way, we're not interested in Animal Kingdom and we're only planning to go to Epcot on Saturday evening to eat there and go to the different "countries")
We have the Super Soap Weekend events and reservations mapped out, but what to do in between? And once we get to MK, what should we do? Thanks in advance!

November 14th - MK

A whole day at MK! What to do?

I see on the Disney website that the Magic Kingdom Park hours for Friday Nov. 11 are 9am-11pm http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...alendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage&date=20051124 Which is good because it would give you that extra hour, but it says that Epcot's hours for Saturday Nov.12 are 11am-9pm (this is for World Showcase) http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...alendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage&date=20051124 So if you are not getting out of MGM till 8pm, this is not going to work for you. Have you made ADR's for a restaurant in Epcot yet? Maybe I would go to Epcot on the day you arrive then on Saturday after MGM you could take the boat (not far)to Boardwalk and have dinner at one of the restaurants there and then go to JellyRolls after (a really fun Dueling piano bar). Then on Monday you have the whole day at Magic Kingdom. :sunny:

We're going to leave MGM after the SSW festivites are over on Saturday night, so we'll have plenty of time to go to Epcot. :) We're dying to get to MK and see the castle, so we know we want to make MK our first stop.

Oops, nevermind...I see what you're saying! We will be in MGM until 8 after all, I completely forgot about the SSW concert. I guess we'll have to do some reworking after all. I've heard Jellyrolls is only for grown-ups though, is that true? (For the record, I am one, but I'm going with a 12 year old) :rotfl:

OK, forget Jelly Rolls, that would not work with a 12 year old :sad2: . But you couold always go over that way to Beaches and Cream (good burgers and ice cream sundays. Do you have Park Hopper passes and are you staying on site?? I ask about the park hopper because other then the short trip that night you were going to Epcot it didn't sound like you were going to utilize the hopper portion of the ticket and if you haven't bought your tickets yet it may not be worth the extra money because it sounds like you are spending most of your days in 1 park (one park per day). Did you plan to go to DTD at all. There are some good shops and restaurants down there! Did you already have plans for Tuesday the 15th? Maybe you could go to Epcot on that day! Have a great time at the SSW!! :wave2: :cheer2: :wave2:

We were planning to do Beaches and Cream on Monday night, but maybe we could do that instead on Saturday night, after MGM. We do have Park Hopper Passes (in case we want to park hop between MK and MGM on Tuesday afternoon) and will be staying at Pop Century.

We do want to go to Downtown Disney...do you have any idea how late it's open? We want to do that for dinner one evening because we're planning on eating at Planet Hollywood. So maybe we could do that Saturday night after MGM and go to Epcot on Tuesday afternoon/early evening.

Yes, that sounds like a plan, it would be better (time wise) to do Beaches and Cream when you are either at MGM or Epcot. Saturday would be a good day for this. It would take too much time to go from MK to Beach Club. Take the boat :boat: over from MGM, on a nice night it's a pretty ride. OR if you are going to Epcot on Tuesday, you could either walk over (you walk through the International Gateway near France in World Showcase)or take the boat :boat: (the boats are over in the World Showcase also) to Beaches and Cream and have lunch there and you could still do your Epcot restaurant for dinner. DTD hours are posted here: http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/downtown.htm, I'm not sure of the hours for Planet Hollywood so you may want to check. Just leave yourself plenty of time to get from one place to another. Also I was going to suggest that on Monday if you don't have any dinner plans you could either eat at the MK or you could take the Monorail to one of the Monorail resorts (CR, Poly, or GF) and eat at one of those places. As far as your original question: What to do in MK all day, that's easy, you will find plenty to do. Just get the map when you go in and don't forget about Fast Passes!! :flower: :cool1: :flower:
