Hello Ladies and Gents.

I need some help with my invite wording. I remember awhile back that there was a thread with some sayings used. Something along the lines of "in the middle of ordinary life you get thrown a fairytale" I really want to use something like that in my invites. Thanks in advance for any help and ideas. This board has kept me sane during the planning process. You brides and grooms are amazing.

Once in a while right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale,

we were going to use that but the MOH at DF's sister's wedding used it in her speech...so we had to do something different.

We're using "In the spirit of the magic that brought us together..."

we chose a passage from the book Cinderella, as written by Charles Perault, and included it in the very opening of our invitation, and then went on to use, "just like a page out of a fairytale..."

We also used "in the spirit of the magic that brought us together" and our graphic designer came up with a cute little poem for the time and date.

You can see them here.

Thanks for the help ladies. As always I knew I could count on you.
Thanks again
hugs to all

For those of you who used this line, what did you follow it with? For example, "...love gives us a fairytale" how did you go into the line of "requesting the honour of your presence" (or whatever wording you used there). I am trying to make mine flow, and we will use some type of line like this at the beginning, but I don't feel like it really flows right now. Thanks!
