Help with how to pack in October!

My DW, me, and DD6 & DD4 are going on 4day wonder on October 13. How should we pack - will it be really hot like NC in August? Or just nice and warm? Should we pack tank tops for the kids and mostly shorts - will they need something warmer for the evenings.

Please help if you've sailed in October!

We sailed last October and it was pretty warm. We wore shorts and tank tops pretty much all the time. We spent two full weeks in fla doing DW and the cruise. Of course we are from Michigan so our idea of warm and your may be different!! It was mid to upper 80's every day.

We were in Nassau last October and found it to be very much like August in NC--hot--hot--hot, and we even had people in Nassau comment that we were lucky we got there during the cooler season--this as I was sweating bullets! We were very comfortable in shorts and t-shirts during the day. I wore sleeveless dresses for dinner. I had packed a light jacket, and never took it out of the closet.
