Help with holiday resort

I am planning a holiday surprise for my family with a trip to Disney, Dec. 30th through January 4th. This will be our first holiday trip to WDW. We usually go in July or August. There are 6 adults going. Can you help with a few questions?
1.How crowded is it toward the end of the holiday week?
2. We would like to stay at either the Wilderness Lodge or Coronado Springs. What are your thoughts?
3. How hard it is to get dining at California Grill for New Year's?

1. Expect long ride waits. You'll need to use EMH's and FP's.
2. WL for sure, but you'd better hurry to snag the rooms.
3. You've already passed 180 days. If you wanted to see Wishes during your dinner, I'd say you're out of luck. Make the ADR's now, they can always be cancelled.

CSR is a great mod and is beautifully decorated. That time of year is particularly crowded because its the holidays so do all your planning early.

You may be too late! That is the busiest week of the year at WDW. and you may have to take whatever is available, for both rooms and ADR's. We really enjoyed CSR, but I don't think you can beat WL at Christmas.
