I have booked my flights for our October cruise and now I want to book our room for the night before using the fly, snooze & cruise package.

I would love some reviews of hotels you guys have stayed. How were the shuttles? What time did you get to the port? Did you have to wait long at the airport? And did you have to wait long at the port going back to the airport?

I want to stay as close to the port as possible. A couple of the ones I looked at were 45 minutes away, luckily I noticed that before I booked.

Thanks

We are using this service in 2 weeks so I can let you know how it goes. Originally I booked a hotel closer to the port but it got awful reviews on trip advisor so I switched to the new residence inn by airport. Being 45 min away didn't change by arrival to port time though. When I was booked closer to port I had a 12:00 pick up time and at residence inn I have 11:00 pick up. Both are getting me to port at 12:15.

I've not used the fly, cruise, snooze ones - but I have used the Park and Cruise packages. Loved them. I drive to the port, but it's still nice to have that extra time in the morning and have everything pretty much taken care of for me.

There are several hotels. I've used Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn. Hampton Inn was the easiest. What I like about the shuttles is they take care of the luggage and help you get to the porters to take the checked in luggage. Not having to deal with lots of luggage is so nice. You do have to point out which is yours and stuff, but they tend to lift it for you. (as a disabled person that is a biggie for me).

There are several hotels right near the port. I know many people like the Country Inn and Suites or the Radisson. (I often use Radisson's parking when I don't stay at a hotel before a cruise - love them).

Thanks. Please let me know when you get back. I am looking more towards staying closer to the port because we get in pretty early and it looks like there is more stuff we would be able to do without a car.

Thanks for the info. I will have to check out those hotels.

Will you be cruising out of Port Canaveral? If so, we have used the Hampton Inn Fly, Snooze and Cruise package and it was great!

Yes, we are cruising out of Port Canaveral.

I checked the Hampton and right now they are only booking this package until 6/2016. Hopefully they will expand the dates to October

Hope it goes well! I am looking at the Residence Inn or Courtyard out in Lake Nona with Go Port Canaveral. I've read nothing but great things of that area.

But to give you my personal experience, I booked their Embassy Suites Fly Snooze Cruise package and it came with transportation to the hotel. We got their in the late afternoon so I got to enjoy happy hour :D next morning we got a shuttle to the cruise terminals and then when we got back from cruising we got transportation back to the hotel. Enjoyed the hotel for a bit, some pool time, and more rest while waiting for our late flight out of MCO. Got a shuttle back to the airport and went back home. It was a wonderful experience.

But yeah keep me posted please, Residence Inn looks great and we're sailing in November. Still on the fence for hotel choice but we're def booking with Go Port Canaveral

Yes, my parents and inlaws have both used the fly, snooze, and cruise package at Hampton Inn at Cocoa Beach and everything went very smooth. We used the Park and Cruise package for our discounted parking since we drove. I have noticed that Hampton hasn't extended the offer yet as we are going again this December so hopefully they extend it further soon. ::Fingers crossed::

That is strange, we have always booked 1 year out on this pkg. Did you call the hotel directly?

Thanks for the response. Hampton Inn seems the way to go, if they extend the dates the package is available.

I did not call directly, I just checked the website. I will try giving them a call later on.

We are cruising the Fantasy in Oct also, 10/15-10/22. We are flying into MCO on the 13th, renting a car and staying at Holiday Inn Club and returning the car the morning of the cruise, then taking a shuttle (Disney I think) back to the airport. We have a 1pm flight so no sight seeing

I just ran some numbers for the Hampton

Using a day on May, the package for 2 people (for the room type I want) comes to $317 ($272 for room and 1st person + $45 for second person).
Using Hotels.com, I was able to book the same room category for $167. Then using another site, I was able to book a car for one day at Budget for only $30 (including taxes and fess). Then assuming we use the Disney shuttle back to the airport, my total for 2 people comes to $267, saving myself $50.

I am glad I read the fine print, as I assumed the package price would include transportation for both people.

My plan right now is to keep the room and car I booked, unless when the packages for Sept come out are cheaper. DH has no issues with driving from the airport to Cocoa Beach as we always rent a car when we go to WDW.

Not bad, I thought the fly snooze cruise was with go port canaveral. But it looks like they only offer Hampton inn at Titusville. https://www.goportcanaveral.com/fly-snooze-cruise/orlando-airport/doubletree-cocoa-beach/2-people/1 The doubletree is $15 less or https://www.goportcanaveral.com/fly-snooze-cruise/orlando-airport/hilton-cocoa-beach/2-people/1 for just a buck more. But at least youve got a car now to enjoy the area, cocoa beach is beautiful!
