Help with finding cardstock

I am doing a "Norway" page and have the following cardstock but since I always do a 2-page layout I need a coordinating page on the other side. I REALLY do not want to get the same cardstock for both pages but if need be than I will. I'm actually looking for a plain red "shiny" type of cardstock. If anyone has an idea of where I can find something like that, I would appreciate it. I don't have any local scrapbook stores near me. The closest I get some of my stuff from is either Michaels or ACMoore. (and that's about an hour away) Guess that's what I get for living in the CT backwoods!!!! LOL

Anyhow, here's the cardstock that I already have and I'm looking for just a plain red shiny cardstock to match. Any ideas.

One thing I thought about when I looked at the paper is that if your red doesn't match, it might not look right. I find reds really difficult to match. Have you thought about picking up the blue in your Norway paper for the next page? It would contrast yet tie the pages together.

I have the same paper and I used blue paper as my 2nd page.

I think it would be easier to match the blue also. Brazzill bling include a red with sparkles so I know it is available, they also have a blue bling pack with something that should match the stripe. Another thing you could do is look for a red that matches and find some ritzy ditzy spray and spray the paper with it. The ritzy ditzy spray comes in at least 10 colors (I have them all) and it turns your paper into a shimmer paper. I would use the silver or bronze on a red with that shading but it is another way to get the desired results.

there was a scrapbook store on Main Street in Jewett City that has paper and there also used to be Rejanique Scrapbooking and Beading on Rt 12 in Central Village. Not sure if they are still there but here is the number for Central Village 860 564-2832

I would probably use blue paper too.

Well good morning fellow neighbors in Connecticut.

I know that Rejanique just closed a couple of weeks ago (I'm only a couple miles from there---actually up behind the high school) Cute little store but didn't really have too much of a variety. Plus the one that was on Main St in Jewett City moved to Taftville (actually within walking distance to my mom's). It's right on that side road next to Sacred Heart church. I don't know if any of you know Taftville area much, but right where Annie's penny candy shop was years ago. It's right in that building. I actually had my Norway cardstock with me yesterday and planned on stopping by to match up my red but they were closed. Maybe I'll try again today.

Where are all of you from in Ct? Sounds like ya real close.
