Help with Fibers, please!

Okay, I have not yet ventured into the world of fibers yet, but after a trip to Michael's today, decided that I am ready Can someone please tell me how to use these fun things? They look neat, but I have no clue what to do with them

you can do so much with these...

you can top a tag with them coming out the hole.
you can thread them through eyelets

and now my mind is drawing a blank!!!

i don't usually use fiber, but my addiction is ribbon...love that stuff.

I like to page through LOs over at TwoPeas to see how people use different things. Usually I just do it "hit or miss" for specifics, but I just found a page where you can choose LOs using various "products". Although 'fiber' isn't listed, you can choose things like raffia, jute, embroidery floss, ribbon, etc. You might get some great ideas that way!
