Is there a place to find out if a seller is offering real Disney pins? I have found a place that sells them for around $1 each  and I just don't know how that is possible! They have all positive reviews, but I am still skeptical!

What we have done is buy like 1 or 2 pins. Once they come in you can tell by doing research if the pins are real or not. Thats the options that we did, and normally I only buy from sellers in FL, and if the package comes from somewhere other than FL when they ship it I will not use them again.

You might check the superthread below regarding eBay. Chances are these are not good pins, can you post a link so some of our other members can give opinions?

also, why you only buy from FL? There are traders all over the world.....I've purchased from all over the country, I've even received fakes from FL. And yes, from CA as well.......

Though the above posters are probably correct, there's another possibility that hasn't been mentioned.

Maybe the seller just doesn't like these particular pins and couldn't sell them at a "regular" price, so they just want to dump them off for cheap.

I'm doing that right now, myself. There was a pin from a mystery box set that I got several duplicates of and they're just taking up space. Admittedly, it's a rather boring pin and no one seems to want it, so I'm selling all of the duplicates way below what most people would just to get rid of them. (I'm not much of a trader anyway and I won't be doing back to Disney until at least 2013).

Just thought I'd mention the possibility.

This is always a possibility but IME it's been extremely rare. If you would care to have me possibly buy some please PM me your eBay name. :) I'm interested in perhaps buying some for trading. If not I understand.
