We arrive in CA on May 11th and we leave for home on the 17th. We are doing one day at Legoland (I think Sat.) and 3 days at Disney. We are staying at the Paradise Pier.
My question is this, I started a diet the week of Thanksgiving and I'm wondering what I'm going to eat while I'm gone. I've lost over 35 lb and I don't want to blow it while on vacation!! Anyone know how much walking you do in the average day? The more I move the more I can eat, heehee. What about the exercise room at the hotel? Any info on what equipment they have (so I can figure out a workout schedule with my trainer).
We are planning on going to the park Sunday, Monday and Wed. I'm sure Sunday will be more crowded than usual due to Mother's Day but I think that is the only time we can catch the Electrical Parade (is that the right name?) and the fireworks.
We went 2 years ago and the kids LOVED Goofy's Kitchen. I've booked it again, but I'm wondering if we should branch out and try something new. My daughter was almost 3 last time and she still talks about playing pots and pans with Goofy.
Less than 3 weeks and I might explode before then. We haven't told the kids and don't plan on telling they get home from school that day. They have testing all week and I don't want them to be too excited to concentrate. That and I don't know if I can handle them asking 399 million times how many days. They know we are going, they just think we are going when school is out
I know we are mean parents but hopefully they will forgive us.
Thank you for all your help!
Heather, mom to Drew (11), Matt (8) and Emmy (4.5). Emmy has already packed her suitcase and is ready to go!
