I am pleading with anyone out there that can help me. We went to WDW last year and Katlyn purchased "Ashley" (our name). We got her at the outlet center for $12, I am pretty sure she was called "My Girl Disney". She is approx. 18" high and was dressed in Mickey t-shirt, shorts, ears, waist bag etc. She went with us everywhere and even had her own seat on the plane ride home.

Anyway I need to get another one. The next door neighbors dog ate her a couple days ago. Katlyn still cries herself to sleep asking for Ashley. I have attached pictures. Please, please, please, if there are any out there, can you help me? She doesn't need to be new or have her clothes we just really miss Ashley.

I have checked ebay and can't find one. I even went to laughingplace.com and they have a newer edition of the my girl disney doll. I can't find it anywhere and I am desparate.

:sad2: My heart goes out to her!

My first impression when I saw Ashley in the photos was that she looked an awful lot like an American Girl doll. These are very popular dolls, each from a different era of American history, sold by an outfit called Pleasant Company. Their website is www.americangirl.com and although when I checked it, I didn't see any Disney themed dolls, if they did produce this doll in a liscensing arrangement with Disney you might be able to get some info from them.

One other reason I think this might be an American Girl related product, is because when I searched eBay under the terms "American" and "Girl" and "Disney" I came with some Disney style costumes produced by American Girl for dolls that seemed to be Ashley's size.

I think this doll might be called something like "My Disney Girl."

You might want to call the store where you bought the doll at WDW first, though. That would be the best starting point for getting a lead on the doll's status

I'll be in WDW in September and if you haven't been able to find Ashley's twin by then, I'll be happy to search for her at that time.

Good luck!

I have a very similar doll I bought from the disney store atleast 2 1/2 years ago. The body looks the same. Ours has the same mickey ears but a different outfit. I think it was called DISNEY SWEETHEART doll. I really hope this helps. Good Luck!

That's awful about the dog! As a longtime collector of the American Girls, I know what it's like to truly love a doll. They don't make those particular My Disney Girl dolls anymore. :( But the newer editions I personally think are a little nicer. They have chubbier faces and come in pink princess jumpsuits.

American Girl does not have anything to do with those dolls. The AG dolls are much nicer and much more expensive than the ones Disney makes. Your Ashley looks very similiar to AG's Addy.

How badly was the doll damaged? There are places that do doll repair.

I'm searching for that doll for you right now! If I come up with anything I'll let you know! I know I'd be just devastated if anything happened to any of my AGs.

I thought the same thing...a Disney Sweetheart Doll. I just found one on Ebay, but it's not "Ashley"....her name is Maria....hope this helps!

Disney Sweetheart....Maria

I'll check out local Disney Oulet and see if they have any info.

I HOPE YOU FIND ONE...we're rooting for you and your munchkin! ;)

Have you tried calling the Disney Merchandise line to see if they can find any info for you? I will try to search for the number and post it.

Wow, that didn't take as long as I thought it would. Give Disney a call and they should be able to tell you if they still carry it and you should be able to purchase it right over the phone. 1-407-363-6200

I have never seen that particular doll before. My girls have the sweetheart dolls from disney store. Oldest has Penny blond doll with purple outfit and younger DD has Mindy the dark haired one someone posted. Cute dolls but not the one you are looking for.

Call information in Florida and ask for the number of Once Upon a Toy. Describe the doll to them. We purchased our doll there 18 months ago - can't remember her name. If they have it, and they probably should, I'm sure you can order over the phone with a credit card and pay for shipping. :wizard:

They were both sold by the same seller. Maybe you can do a search for completed auctions and email the seller to see if they have any more... Maybe your DD would be ok with Ashley's "sister" (a new doll purchased from WDW Merchanding or a Disney Sweetheart from ebay, or an American Girl doll) that she picks out? Hope this works out for you. I'll keep my eyes open as well.

Poor Katlyn and Ashley. :( If you're ok with "close enough" then Madison, of the newer Springfield Dolls line might work - you can find her at springfielddolls . com. I'd post a link but newbies aren't allowed . You can get Springfield dolls at most larger craft stores like Michaels and AC Moores. Joann's carries them infrequently as well. I can sympathise with Katlyn, when I was 4 I lost my Jingle baby (the doll had a bell inside her - I must have driven my mother crazy) which prompted a late night run to any store that might have a replacement. For what it's worth, even knowing that the Jingle Baby I was given wasn't the same one I lost, I was ok. I don't know your daughter, but perhaps you could show her the options and see if there's a doll she'd like more than a clone of Ashley - for some, it might be feel disloyal to the old Ashley while for others a copy is just what's needed.

I found "My Girl Disney" dolls on ebay. They look like the newer versions, but there are quite a few of them! Here is the website of one of the dolls

Here is the website at ebay where you can find many "My Girl Disney" dolls and different cloths http://search.ebay.com/My-Girl-Disney_W0QQfkrZ1QQfromZR8
Also here is a Disney Sweetheart doll that looks a lot like the doll you are looking for, but not exactly the same: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=138&item=6536894208&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

I hope you find a replacement doll!

That's not Ashley that is Kenai! at least that is what DD named hers, She is a My disney girl, they revamped them. We got Kenai at Character Warehouse in the Belz outlet I have no clue if they still have any. Sorry for your DD that is always hard.

I just came back from DTD. At Once Upon A Toy they have My Disney Girl Princess. She is wearing a pink outfit and has pink mouse ears that say Disney Princess.

I showed your picture to the CM. She said they would not have any more of that variety.

If they would have them anywhere, it would be at the Disney store at the Orlando Premium Outlet. They often move their discontinued merchandise there. If I get a chance this weekend, I will run over there and check.

Sorry I didn't have better news.

Feralpeg, I just have to say I love your style!! :flower: You just spread the magic, and inform all of us, and I wanted to thank you!! (I'm still remembering the post you made on CM salaries!!)

Thank YOU! :wizard:

Also, is that a Yoda I see in your basket creation??? Is Yoda readily available? :bitelip:
