Help with Disney visa discount

I just got off the phone and tried to do split stay since I arrive on January 4th and wanted to do stay play dine for the rest of the trip. The cm said I can't access my tickets from package until checking in on the 5th. I thought I had read before u could get them a day early. Anyone able to help me with this?

Currently you can pick up your park tickets up to 3 days before the start of your package. CMs on the phone will say it can't be done, but ticketing allows it. Here's the ticketing sticky with the info you need in post #15-I:
