Hey all! I would love some feedback on my ADRs and help with finding one for our first night. Here is what I have so far:

Crystal Palace - Lunch at 12:45

Tepan Edo - Dinner at 7:50 (think it's a good time to get out and see the fireworks?) Location suggestions around here?

O'Hana - Dinner at 6:45  Our favorite!

Tusker House - Breakfast 9:10

Kona - Breakfast at 10:30 (Can't wait to try Tonga Toast!)

I feel pretty good about all I have so far. Very excited about trying Tepan Edo because my kids LOVE to eat at Japanese restaurants where they cook in front of you. Kona will be new for us as well and I've heard so much about Tonga toast I just can't wait to have it!!

Here is my problem. We arrive at 10:30 a.m. so I'm hoping to be at SSR checking in by 2? Is that a reasonable assumption? We will then head out out to HS. I am not really excited about any of their restaurants. We ate at Mama Melrose last time and :scared:. The worst meal we have had EVER. I've read the reviews at the other places there and Sci-Fi seems 50/50 and Prime Time doesn't really pull me in.

So....should we just eat a CS here and then do another sit down later in the trip (that would mean two in one day) or, leave HS and hit a sit down restaurant that is close or easy to get to? Keep in mind, we are at SSR. I initially made late reservations at CapNJacks but I'm worried now after reading less than great reviews. :confused3 Thanks!

Are you thinking Dinner or a late lunch?

Prime Time is okay. It's not my favorite place, but I think it's because I was hoping for a really fun meal and just didn't find that either time I was there. The food was good, though.

I really like Sci-Fi, but only for lunch. It doesn't appeal to me at all for dinner.

You might consider a quick boat ride over to BC/YC or BW. Boardwalk has lot of restaurants (most don't take reservations, it appears), but BC has Cape May Cafe with an evening Clam Bake Buffet, or Captain's Grill for a sit-down dinner. I've never done either, but I've heard great things about Cape May's clambake.

Maybe a boat ride over to Swan and Dolphin for Garden Grove? I've never been there, either, but it sounds like they might have a character meal?

Other than that, no clue.

Tepan Edo - Dinner at 7:50 (think it's a good time to get out and see the fireworks?)

That's our plan - what time are the fireworks and can you see them from Teppan Edo? I was afraid we'd miss them while having dinner!

I think 7:50 is too late to guarantee seeing the fireworks.
You can't see them from Teppan Edo. In my experience they will wait until you have a full table before the chef gets started so you might be waiting for a bit.
