Hello.

I'm a few month lurker, and have a Disney vacation booked for November 5-11 with a party of 8 (for most of us, it will be our first time at Disney).

I am feeling pretty stressed out about securing the dining reservations tomorrow, and wanted some advice for which reservation I should start with when it opens at 6 am (we are staying onsite at Coronado Springs, with the DDP)

Here is what I would like, based off our park schedule. We plan on doing dinners, but I could switch to lunches for some (epcot and HS days)

Sat 11/5 HDDR at 6:15
Sunday 11/6 Biergarten
Monday 11/7: 50s prime time cafe
Tuesday 11/8 Boma
Wednesday 11/9 Chef Mickey's (dinner)
Thursay 11/10 TREX

Any advice on which ones I should concentrate on first versus those that I have more time to book? How popular is Chef Mickey's for dinner?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give a very lost and stressed first timer! :crazy2:

Are you all on the same reservation? or different reservations and accounts with MDE?

Hello.

I haven't eaten at Chef Mickey's for dinner so I don't know how hard it is to get. I think that you should be fine with yours but it pays to do it on 180 days. HDDR you have to pay when you book so that doesn't sell out too quickly. We love Boma, 50s PT and Biergarten - and especially HDDR. You have good choices -- have fun.

Start with Chef Mickey. It will be the most difficult The rest you will be fine with.

I can't imagine you having any trouble with any of those.

Last trip, we booked meals for 11 people, including BoG and the Brown Derby. We booked at 7 am, 180 days out. No issues at all.

This year our travel agent booked for the 5 of us, including BoG and La Cellier. No problems.

Thanks everyone! You were all right, I had no problem with any of them. I even added on a BOG lunch for our Magic Kingdom day for all 8 of us! Maybe it's the week I'm going, but that was easier than I expected!

Phew, I'm glad that's over!
