I made all my choices and now I wanted to get some opinions on those choices. We have 2 sons that will be 1 & 2 so I tried to work with that. Are any of these resturants just not worth it or any you love?

crystal palace for breakfast, (did chef mickey's for breakfast also, but you have it for dinner). we had a great time at both places. we had a AR for first thing in the morning on the days we had these, and it worked to our advantage that we had quite a bit of character interaction, hot food, and great waiter and waitress. at the time, my dd was 19 mths, and ds was 5, and my dd would get upset everytime the characters would leave the table, cause she would want them to stay. my son was kinda shy at chef mickey's (first encounter with the characters for both kids, but son was shyer), and by the time we got to crystal palace, he was fine, and had a great time. i would recommend both of those.

we now have planned to go back to chef mickey's for breakfast, and we are also doing donald's and we have the 1900 park fare, but are doing dinner on that one.

can't wait to see what other responses you get,

dina :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: 68 days to go!!

I can't comment on all your choices but I'd have to say I personally wouldn't recommend San Angel, the food is basically what you get at any chain mexican restarurant but it costs a lot more. I've been there for both lunch and dinner, figuring I would give it a fair chance but I don't think we'll be going back again. Too much money for food we could get at Chi Chi's

Le Celliar has great food and service. I love the chedder cheese soup! The bread is good, my favorite is the sourdough, DBF likes the pretzel. We always get the Filet Mignon, which is wonderful! I can't really comment on any other dinner choices here.

We haven't been to O'hana's but we've stayed at Poly twice. It looks nice, everyone seems to enjoy themselves, and there is a bar and sitting area where you can wait for your table. It seems to get pretty crowded around the restaurant and it looked like people were waiting for awhile. The bar has great mixed drinks if you end up waiting for your table!

We had Crystal Palace for an early dinner 2 trips back. It was pretty good, nothing spectacular but good. The characters were entertaining, we don't have kids so we don't get too into the character meals.

And Alfredo's is good as well. I didn't like it the first time we ate there (had the chicken) but this last time I had the linguine with vodka sauce (minus the shrimp) and it was great! The service here was not so great the first time but excellent the second time.

'Ohana was our next highly anticipated dining adventure. Our family even purchased Hawaiian shirts to dress the part before we headed over to enjoy the food. I was so glad to have made our ADR's 90 days out as I heard many people being told that they were completely booked up for the evening. As this was a family dining type buffet, DH and I did not share our food. DS's opted for a hot dog and pb & j sandwich. Both liked their meals and enjoyed the lively atmosphere of this restaurant.
DH and I liked the cocktails at this place. DH ordered a pina colada and I ordered the server's favorite the Island Sunset. After walking in the hot sun all day these hit the spot!
The appetizer tray was placed upon the lazy susan on our table and I couldn't help remembering the great pictures of this I saw on another board. We really enjoyed the shrimp potstickers, but there wasn't a bad thing on the tray. Fried rice, glazed chicken wings, salad in a citrus lime type dressing, green beans with bacon, and three types of sauces accompanied the appetizers (cilantro, peanut, and fruit). All were delicious. I especially like the green beans which were perfectly cooked just to the right doneness. Still a bit crunchy so the texture was there, but a perfect match with the smoky bacon.
I have to admit that I was worried about the meat on the skewers because I did read about visitors encountering dry and overcooked meat. As we were served, we found no indication of any meats that were dry or overcooked. Everything was moist, tender, and well-seasoned. My favorite was the beef that I dipped in cilantro sauce, and my DH liked everything and couldn't decide on a favorite! The shrimp was very popular among the people sitting around us and servers were catering to a full establishment. A definite return for us! Service was quick for a restaurant that must have been near full capacity and food was great. Our family gave 'Ohana an A. :flower:

We love Chef Mickey's for breakfast but probably wouldn't eat there again for dinner. There weren't that many choices on the buffet and what they had just seemed average for the price. I know you're paying for the characters, but the food needs to be good too.

We'll be at WDW Oct 14-21 and I have ADRs to have breakfast there twice because we are staying at the Contemporary. It's big fun.

We also ate at San Angel, and it was average. It was really crowded and the tables were close together. It just seemed like we were packed in like sardines.
